President of The Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants

Datuk Tan Theng Hooi is the Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Malaysia. He also sits on the board of directors of Deloitte Southeast Asia. He has more than 30 years of experience in the public accounting practice with Deloitte.

His extensive experience encompasses auditing, tax, business as well as financial advisory services. He has served key multinational and local companies, provided business advisory services and also led merger and acquisition deals for clients locally and in the region. Among his other affiliations, he also serves as the President of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA); Council Member and Chair of Audit Risk Management Committee, Malaysian Institute of Accountants; and Fellow of CPA Australia.
